Upcoming CPD Sessions
With all the busyness of Christmas preparations as well as end of term assessments and generally trying to juggle a hundred and one things while giving your best to your students, we hope you’ll join us for a weekly time of prayer and reflection as we prepare for the coming of Jesus at Christmas.
Our ‘Advent Retreat’ for school staff consists of 3 x 30 minute after-school sessions providing respite and enrichment on the theme of Advent.
Many schools have already registered, but there are still plenty of places available! If you’re not able to make any of the sessions, you can always use our ‘Watch Again’ function.
Advent Retreat
- Thursday 1st December – Part 1 (30mins)
- Thursday 8th December – Part 2 (30mins)
- Thursday 15th December – Part 3 (30mins)
Looking Ahead to January
January is a busy month for CPD with two sessions taking place in the first week in January – so don’t forget to look ahead and register early. There are On-boarding courses aimed at new staff as well as more in depth Twilight sessions for Collective Worship and Life to the Full (Primary and Secondary). There is also a Life to the Full course for SLT and Governors.

There will be sessions for primary and secondary school teachers linked to topics linked to Collective Worship and Life to the Full.
- Perhaps you work in a primary school and would like to take advantage of our Collective Worship ‘Sharing Best Practice’ sessions?
- Maybe you have new colleagues in your primary or secondary school and want to ensure they know all they need to get started with your school’s Ten Ten Resources subscriptions?
- If you are based in a secondary school, might you welcome training on answering some of the difficult questions that can arise when teaching Relationships, Sex and Health Education, as supported by the Life to the Full programme?
- At primary or secondary level, would you relish the opportunity to deep dive into the amazing ‘Theology of the Body’ teachings given to us by St John Paul II, to give you a deeper understanding of the Catholic Church’s teaching on human sexuality and so enhance your subject knowledge?

What is the CPD Package?
The CPD Package is a new subscription platform providing online CPD sessions and courses running throughout 2023-24.
Is it for schools or individuals?
One annual subscription to the CPD Package will give every member of your staff access to all courses available throughout the year.
How much does it cost?
The cost of CPD Package depends on the size of your school and which other programmes you subscribe to. Find out how much it will cost for your school here.

Why is pornography a problem?
On Thursday 19th October 2023 Ten Ten Resources will be live-streaming a discussion session for parents and carers of children in KS2 and KS3 on the subject of pornography. Commissioned by the Catholic Education Service, this session is available free of charge and will be live streamed at 9.15am, 3.30pm and 6.00pm.
