At Ten Ten Resources, we have an ambitious vision – to change the world with creative Catholic content. That means change for us too. Over the past year, we have been working on changes and improvements to our programmes so that they continue to be in service to Catholic schools and their mission.
We hope you have already seen one such change. If you subscribe to Life to the Full, Life to the Full Plus, or Prayer and Liturgy: Loving Jesus, all of our CPD content is now included at no extra cost.
That means having access to:
Live interactive sessions
New courses released throughout the year
Courses from the archive
Access to Staffroom Shorts
Courses for parents
You can access the CPD sessions via the sidebar menu of the programme you subscribe to. Those new to Ten Ten Resources will be particularly helped by the Twilight sessions that we offer for each programme. This change gives all teachers easy access to the CPD content they need and provides Programme Coordinators with the support they need to plan staff training.
Our masterclass series RE Deep Dive is inspired by ‘To Know You More Clearly’ the new Religious Education Directory. Featuring a brilliant array of speakers, it offers quality CPD for primary and secondary schools by providing a foundational understanding and ‘big picture’ vision of the key themes in Catholic RE.
For RE Teachers, these videos are intended to be an inspiring and insightful foundation for teaching the content recommended by your specific RE Programme.
For Catholic Life and CPD leads, they could provide options for new staff training, briefings and INSET days.
There are over 60 videos included in our low-cost subscription and we have provided three exciting pathways to break down the content into bitesize sessions:
For the first time, this academic year we are offering Prayer and Liturgy content for secondary schools. To help schools celebrate the Year of Jubilee 2025, we are providing eight assemblies. Each assembly links to a different Jubilee theme, includes student-led prayer opportunities, links to UK charities and challenges students to put their faith into action.
This content is part of our new subscription package for Catholic secondary schools Prayer & Liturgy: Journeying Together offered free of charge for all schools during the academic year 2024-25 (including some free Prayer and Liturgy CPD for secondary staff).
Life to the Full Primary and Life to the Full Plus
PRIMARY SCHOOLS
Through our Life to the Fullprogramme, we provide nearly 82% of Catholic schools in England and Wales with a comprehensive set of well-planned, engaging resources to cover all aspects of RSHE.
Introduced last year, Life to the Full Plus is our PSHE add-on that is fully integrated into Life to the Full to provide a seamless teaching experience. These sessions include a lesson plan and activities along with additional short-format videos called Classroom Shorts. These provide richly animated film content along with a series of 13 live-action dramas that feature children and original storylines. In the stories, characters navigate change, learn about responsibility, grow in understanding and dream about their futures
It’s finally here! Version 2 of our Year 9 programme for Life to the Full Secondary launches in September 2024 with Year 10 to follow after half term and Year 11 planned for later in the year. With a new and diverse team of presenters, student voice content from across the UK, and using the power of story to bring issues alive, we are really excited to see the impact this new version of the programme will have.
During the Autumn Term, we would love to visit schools to see how the new year 9 & 10 content is resonating in the classroom and gain feedback from students and staff. If your school subscribes to Life to the Full Secondary and is close to any of the following locations, please get in touch about a potential visit: Newcastle, York, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Oxford, South or West London.
Please note that we will be providing access to legacy content (that is, any content created before Summer 2024) during the 2024-25 academic year, to give you the time you may need to update your planning.
3 Week Trial
Remember it is possible to have a free three week trial for all Life to the Full and Prayer and Liturgy programmes.
A recent negative assessment of our Life to the Full programme by the organisation Voice of the Family has prompted us to reflect again on our vision and mission.
It’s hard to miss the numerous news articles, social media posts, documentaries and books discussing the impact of smartphones on the lives of young people.
On Thursday 19th October 2023 Ten Ten Resources will be live-streaming a discussion session for parents and carers of children in KS2 and KS3 on the subject of pornography. Commissioned by the Catholic Education Service, this session is available free of charge and will be live streamed at 9.15am, 3.30pm and 6.00pm. Here, Ten Ten’s CPD Leader Nicola Sweetman tells us why parents should be encouraged to discuss pornography with their children.
If the answer is ‘yes’, then you may be interested to learn how we are working with the Catholic Education Service Wales to help you implement the new statutory Guidance and Code for RSE.
CPD Sessions for the Start of the New Academic Year…
Whether you need to familiarise returning staff with programme updates or you need to get new staff up to speed, we’ve got sessions for you starting on 1st September...
Looking back over this academic year, we’ve had so many great articles to share with you through the Teacher Hub that we’ve decided to compile some of the most popular to share with you again in case you missed them the first time round!
The first thing you will notice at the start of the new academic year is that we will have a new website. We have been working with some wonderful website designers and developers to address some of the key issues that our users have fed back. We hope that our new website will improve your user experience and the way you access the content.
Everywhere you turn in Rome there are joyful signs of life and sobering reminders of death! Rome: a bustling city, with rich architecture, art, history and open-air opera. Delicious aromas of espresso and the flavours of pizza and gelato – a feast for the senses! Here in the midst of all this hustle and bustle of life, lies the home and much history of Catholicism.

Did you know that most Life to the Full subscriptions expire on 31st July 2022? It is the same case with the majority of Combined Collective Worship and Life to the Full subscriptions. To maintain access and to prepare for the new academic year in September, schools need to renew.
What might a Catholic say to the argument that Natural Family Planning (NFP) is still a couple ‘playing God’, albeit in a more natural way than using contraception?
There were so many enthusiastic teachers who applied for their children to have the opportunity to be Pilgrim Guides for our Ten Ten Year of Pilgrimage – but only three could be chosen…
The phrase ‘DIY abortion’ might conjure up tragic images from times before abortion was legalised; characterised by fear, judgement of ‘unfeeling’ or ‘promiscuous’ women and a lack of understanding or communication about changing attitudes towards sex. A particularly harrowing episode of ‘Call the Midwife’ involving a backstreet abortion springs to mind. Now, more than 50 years on, have things changed?
‘It is love that has explained everything to me,’ is a quotation from St John Paul II, but what did teachers from around the country think about learning about his Theology of the Body?
During our Ten Ten Year of Pilgrimage there will be many experiences and encounters but perhaps none so dramatic as Holy Week: Our Pilgrimage to Jerusalem – the final leg of Our Pilgrimage to the Cross. To use a fairground analogy, it’s a rollercoaster!
Keeping Children Safe in Education – Secondary Schools
In January we shared an article for primary schools on ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’. We’ve since had requests for an article for our secondary school colleagues, so here it is…
A Day for Everything: International Day for Persons of Disability
Did you know that 15th November is ‘Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day’? Or that 25th August is ‘Kiss and Make Up Day’? Or that the whole of April is dedicated to ‘Straw Hat Month’?!
Ten Ten has published guidance which provides a summary of the expectation on schools to teach about the Protected Characteristics and guidance on how we support Catholic primary and secondary schools in this teaching through our programme, Life to the Full.
If you came here expecting an in-depth character analysis of Clark Kent and Superman across the entire franchise, I’m afraid you’ll be sorely disappointed. (Sorry-not-sorry about the deliberately misleading picture and title).
My friends and family sometimes say that I share too much too soon, so maybe it’s too soon to share these confessions after only working with Ten Ten Resources for four months.
“Hmmm… it looks like a tampax advert!” This was the response of my male friend (on more than one occasion!) when we were discussing the colours on a poster for events we were organising at university.
On the eve of All Hallows or as most of us know it, Halloween – children and adults dress in skeleton, witch or ghoul costumes, surrounded by cobwebs, images of graveyards and terrifying accessories to celebrate the seasonal trick or treat fest with sugar highs and scary frights!
We are delighted to announce that we have created a number of exciting new CPD opportunities for both subscribers and non-subscribers in the areas of Collective Worship and RSHE.
There’s something in us all that is intrigued by human relationships - how they work, how they don’t, and how they thrive or nose-dive under certain pressures of life.
All around the world this week, people have been amazed and inspired by Zheng Tao, arguably one of the most skillful athletes to walk the face of the earth.
On Saturday 1 May 2021, we celebrated the second Feast Day for St Joseph, which focuses on his inspiring qualities as a worker. This is especially important this year, as Pope Francis has proclaimed this year ‘The Year of Joseph’.
