Diocesan Conference Sessions

Four distinct conference sessions to engage, support and inspire teachers. Each 90-minute session will include examples of our dynamic video content, advice on how teachers can make the most of our programmes, and opportunities to reflect, discuss and learn from each other.

Diocesan Conference Sessions

#1 Life Online – Exploring issues raised in ‘Adolescence’

Drawing on issues raised by the Netflix drama ‘Adolescence’, this session will use examples from our new Year 9 and 10 content to explore the pressures and dangers young people face around sexual experience, the influences that shape their self-image and values, and how their relationship is changing with parents or guardians.

There will be space for teachers to reflect on their own context and how they can meet the needs of the students in their care.

#2 10 Principles for Catholic RSHE

This session unpacks the 10 principles that underpin our Life to the Full programmes and which we believe should be at the heart of all Catholic RSHE.

Through examples from across both primary and secondary programmes, we help teachers to reflect on the importance of RSHE in a Catholic school and provide the pillars that can support with staff formation.
